A goal from Rodrigo and an own goal sealed victory in Leeds’ first Premier League match against Wolves.
American midfielder Brendan Aaronson made his English Premier League debut for Leeds in a 2-1 win over Wolverhampton on Saturday.
Aaronson, who made his Leeds debut after joining Jesse Marsh’s side this off-season, looked set to convert Patrick Bamford’s cross in the 74th minute, forcing defender Ryan Ait-Nouri to get a leg up for a clearance. Who was caught in his own trap.

The own goal completed a turnaround for Leeds, who fell behind early when Daniel Podens scored for the visitors in the sixth minute with a volley off the turf and under the crossbar.
Aronson equalized when his neat turn and shot deflected for a corner, but Rodrigo equalized for the hosts in the 24th.
Ayat-Nouri was caught in his penalty area and after the ball broke to Rodrigo on the right edge of the box, the Spain forward drilled a low-angle shot past goalkeeper Jose Sass’ post.
American midfielder Tyler Adams also made his league debut for Leeds.
