Imagine being heir to a property worth around Rs 100 crore and still being broken up! Sounds unrealistic, but that’s exactly what happened in the fate of Australia’s Claire Brown. Her story is something out of a comedy drama flick where her father’s will prevents her from inheriting the $12 million (Rs 93 crore) estate that she should have received. Currently living away from welfare, Claire can exercise her right over her father’s property only after fulfilling her father’s death wish. The desire is simple and yet not so easy for him, who is getting a permanent job.

According to a report in The Daily Mail, Claire is now challenging her father’s will in court after access to the funds was blocked by her trust. “Give me what I deserve. I’m suffering. Can you please stop ‘getting my job all over’? It’s not happening. I’m constantly broken and can’t do anything about it,” Claire pleads with her family.

Claire says she has been denied a permanent job due to her suffering from Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and high-functioning autism. She has said that these disabilities keep her from doing her job because she can’t even learn to drive and, in her own words, has the attention span of a gnat.

Claire, who currently lives in Sydney’s Mount Druitt with his wife Lauren and one-year-old daughter, received a weekly allowance of Rs 40,000 from her stockbroker father Chris before he died in January this year. However, even during that period, Claire claims that Chris often bit her and financially exploited her.

Claire has said that she often struggles to perform normal daily tasks and that she will never be able to find a job. Dubbed as a ‘broken millionaire’ for her fortune, Claire hopes that fighting her father’s will in court will help her claim what she deserves.
