The same chat reveals that during the sour moments, Sippy Sidhu and Kalyani had a heated argument, with both accusing each other of having a physical relationship with someone else.

Kalyani, an accused in the Sippy Sidhu murder case, is the daughter of Justice Sabina, a judge of the Himachal High Court. Sippy Sidhu was murdered on the night of 20 September 2015 in a park in Sector 27, Chandigarh. The CBI is probing the Sippy Sidhu murder case in which his girlfriend Kalyani Singh is an accused and is currently in jail.

The correspondence between the two took place till September 15, 2015, just five days before Sippy’s murder. Their seven-year-old relationship saw several emails and WhatsApp exchanges between the two.

But more important were towards the end. Sippy discusses the threat to his life with Kalyani

Sippy Sidhu had written to Kalyani in an email dated 17 August 2015 that he was in danger for his life. In the same email he is asking her to forgive. The words he uses are, “I love you and want to be with you.” In the next sentence he wrote, “Please excuse me. I love you. Please meet me one more time (sic).”

According to Kalyani’s lawyer Sartej Narula, on the same day, Kalyani’s purported question to Sippy via email is about his security concerns: “Have you met the DGP? Get the matter investigated. Get to the bottom of it. Who sent them? Find the owner of the car. grab him. Everything will come out. Please be safe Sippy.”

Sippy apprised Kalyani about the security cover and about her alleged meeting with the DGP. This conversation also takes place via email on the same day.

On August 18, 2015, Sippy Sidhu reportedly wrote another mail apologizing.

On September 13, 2015, a message was received on an iPhone which was found to be “garbage free life” in the possession of Kalyani. This message was from a person who knew Kalyani. A day later, Kalyani had her last email contact with Sippy Sidhu.

Kalyani and Sippy accuse each other of cheating

Before long, the relationship started getting sour. On February 2, 2015, Kalyani reportedly sent a WhatsApp message to Sippy Sidhu: “You know you just be with him.i am you With O*T. It was very important to you,”- Kalyani alleges that Sippy must have been in a relationship with someone else.

Notably, Sippy and his family had accused Kalyani of being in a relationship with someone else, which was one of the major reasons why they rejected the marriage proposal from Kalyani’s parents.

On April 28, 2015, Sippy allegedly sent objectionable pictures of Kalyani with a ‘relative’. On the same day he sent another picture of Kalyani in ‘compromising position’ as per the CBI report.

Kalyani stops keeping in touch with Sippy over email

The CBI investigation reveals that though Kalyani was not in touch with Sidhu by email or phone after September 15, 2015, but five days before his murder, she confronted Sidhu in his office and met Sidhu on September 19, 2015. shouted at her very loudly, while Sippy Sidhu tried to pacify her. It was a day before Sippy was murdered.

Sippy was murdered on September 20 in a park in Sector 27. The family of accused Kalyani has told that they were at a birthday party in Sector 10, Chandigarh between 8:20 pm and 11:00 pm. However, Kalyani’s polygraph test revealed that her reaction to the question of her presence at the birthday party and her presence in the park in Sector 27, where Sippy was shot dead, was found suspicious.
