These days Anushka Sharma is busy training for Chakda Express. The actress plays the role of former Indian captain Jhulan Goswami. These days Anushka is sharing glimpses of her training on Instagram. In her new post from the field, she revealed that she has one regret – not playing cricket as a kid.
Anushka shared a sweaty selfie on her Instagram stories and wrote, “I wish I had played some cricket in Bachchan, toh aaj hal aisi nahi hota (I wish I had played a little cricket as a child, I wouldn’t have been in it at least) low state).
On Tuesday, Anushka shared another selfie, which reveals that she has got a tan due to her outdoor practice sessions. In the picture, Anushka was seen showing tan on her face as she smiled at the camera and clicked a selfie. Anushka is looking very beautiful in makeup free look. Taking to the caption, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actor wrote, “Dus par ‘tan’.”
The actress had earlier revealed that she has been taking cricket tips from her husband Virat Kohli. “We definitely discuss my progress. Whenever I’m having a good day learning, I like to share my videos with Virat, to get his feedback. Luckily, he’s not a bowler so I I listen to my coach more. But I turn to Virat for batting tips,” she told Harper’s Bazaar.
“I always appreciated how mentally stressful playing cricket can be, but now, I also understand how physically exhausting it can be. I remember when Virat used to visit me sometimes on film sets, and he would see us on late night shoots or in very cold places, he used to wonder and wonder how we were able to do this. Now, I talk to him about the things he has been doing for so many years.”
