ISLAMABAD (92 NEWS) – PTI President Imran Khan has said that he never thought about who would be the army chief in November.
Addressing a seminar on Wednesday, he said he thought that when the time comes, he will appoint the army chief on merit.
“There is no need to appoint me as the army chief because I don’t want to hide my theft. Nawaz Sharif does this kind of work to protect his theft,” he said.
The former prime minister said that he and Shaukat Tarin had asked neutral people to stop the conspiracy, otherwise there would be economic instability in the country. “The government did what we had predicted. Today the economy is going down and inflation is going up,” he said.
