International community should come forward to help Afghans after earthquake Munir Akram
NEW YORK (92 NEWS) – Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Munir Akram, has said that the international community should come forward to help the Afghans.
At the United Nations, Pakistan has called on the world community to rise above political considerations and help Afghanistan in the wake of the deadly earthquake in the country.
In a message issued by the Pakistan Mission to the United Nations in New York, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Munir Akram, said that the international community should come to the aid of the Afghans.
The Pakistani envoy expressed solidarity with the Afghan brothers and sisters who are already facing extreme hardship due to decades of conflict.
Munir Akram said that Pakistan on its part will continue to support Afghanistan and its people through humanitarian aid, economic assistance and comprehensive cooperation.
