International master Nitin Senthilvel continued his stellar run by registering his seventh consecutive win after the seventh round of the 13th Chennai Open International Grandmaster Chess Tournament 2022 here on Thursday.

With a hard-fought 99-move win on the top board against B Vignesh, Nitin has 7 points, a full point ahead and three rounds to go. Nitin is followed by top-seeded GM Boris Savchenko (Russia) and IM LR Srihari with six points.
