Each dish has benefits but there are some combinations that are not good for your digestive system or overall health. Dr. Nikita Kohli, Ayurvedic expert talks about some of the substances that bother your digestive system.

The Ayurvedic expert recently shared a video on Instagram in which she talks about what happens when meat and milk are mixed together. According to her, when we consume milk immediately after eating meat, it can cause digestive problems and skin disorders like psoriasis and vitiligo.

Initially, she explained the principles of Ayurveda in her caption, which states, “Food that requires a different digestive environment must be eaten alone.” She further said that it is very important for a person to eat the right food at the right time to avoid health problems. “According to Ayurveda, there is an imbalance of the three defects of phlegm, vata and bile, which can ruin one’s health and well-being,” she said.

In addition, health experts point out that milk and meat are a bad combination because the digestion process of milk is different from the digestion of chicken which is rich in protein.

“Eating milk and chicken builds up and accumulates toxins in the body. On the other hand, chicken can be difficult for some people to digest and releasing stomach acids can put a serious strain on the digestive process,” she said.

“Consumption of this combination can have adverse effects in the long run. These consequences can include stomach problems such as abdominal pain, nausea, indigestion, gas, bloating, ulcers, bad breath, constipation, acid reflux and many other serious skin disorders, ”she added.

Thus, she suggested to people both separately or after an interval of two hours.
