Karnataka SSLC Result 2022 Live Updates
To ensure that students do not suffer due to pandemic-induced loss of academic hours or stress due to online-offline classes, the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) has launched several new initiatives. Check out here what’s special about this year’s Karnataka SSLC or Class 10 board exam results.
More Grace Marks: The number of grace marks given to a student was five per cent, which has been increased to 10 per cent this year. Now, if a student needs three marks each in three subjects, teachers can now make an exception and reward him with grace marks kitty.
Helpline for students, parents: Ahead of the result, the Karnataka government issued a helpline to parents and students to deal with any anxiety, stress and depression, state Health Minister Dr Sudhakar K. The student cabs call on the mental health helpline at 080-46110007. Sudhakar said, “For the first time in history, our health department is opening a dedicated helpline for parents and students to deal with any anxiety, stress and depression.”
Uniform Norms Restrictions Hijab: The Karnataka government had banned the wearing of hijab or any other religious clothing inside the examination hall following the HC order. Karnataka Home Minister Araga Gyanendra had earlier said, “Whoever violates the rule will face action. We will not compromise on this. Everyone should follow the orders of the High Court. Students will have to remove the hijab and take the exam. During the exam, a supervisor, Noor Fahima was suspended for wearing the hijab in the Karnataka SSLC exam. The students had also threatened not to take the exam over the decision.
Percentage of decline for the first time since 2017: The pass percentage or number of students who have passed class 10 or SSLC exam is continuously increasing. However, once again breaking the 99.9% pass percentage recorded in 2021, it is unlikely that the above graph will continue and it is likely to see a decline after a long time.
Difference in result declaration, download time: As the result could not be downloaded from the websites, hours after the declaration of result, the Karnataka government has decided to keep the time of declaration and availability of the result separate. Even after the result is declared at 12:30, marks will be given after 1 pm. The result will be available at sslc.karnataka.gov.in, kseeb.kar.nic.in, Manabadi and karresults.nic.in.
