WashingtonKendrick Lamar’s new album ‘Mr. Morrell and the Big Steppers’ fans have been eagerly waiting for is finally out. The album comes just two days after the album’s cover was revealed on Instagram on Wednesday. The cover, clicked by photographer Renel Medrano, received immense support from fans and celebrities as well.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Roddy Rich; Producers MixBaly and Mike Will Made-It, actors Yara Shahidi and Keith Powers as well as many more liked and commented on the post. Screaming Lamar’s California hometown, Rich remarked, “Compton Jesus.”

Before releasing the cover of the album, Lamar released his song ‘The Heart Part 5’ with an accompanying music video. The visuals are a close-up of rapper ‘Spitting Bar’ through the entirety of the song as his face transforms into the likes of OJ Simpson, Kanye West, Jussie Smollett, Kobe Bryant, Will Smith and Nipsey Hussle.

In 2018, Kendrick’s album ‘DAMN’ earned a Pulitzer Prize in Music. To date, the rapper has appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 chart 50 times, with eight Top 10 entries and two No. 1 hits – including featuring him on his single track “Humble” and Taylor Swift’s tune “Bad Blood”.
