On a complaint by a Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) leader Vinu Vincent, the police have registered a case under section 153 of the Indian Penal Code (incitement to riot – if rioting is committed – if not committed). ,

Earlier on Tuesday, Left Democratic Front (LDF) convener EP Jayarajan had termed Sudhakaran’s words “extremely reprehensible” and “vulgar” and said “they are not even used by an ordinary politician”.

Addressing media persons on Tuesday, the KPCC chief had used a ‘dog with a broken chain’ against the Chief Minister.

Notably, Jayarajan had demanded Sudhakaran’s arrest and charged him with a serious offense of “insulting a Chief Minister to disturb the atmosphere of peace” in the state.
