Washington: Reality TV star Khloe Kardashian and her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson have welcomed their second child and first baby together via surrogacy. Khloe hasn’t decided on a name for her son yet, a source told PEOPLE. Last month, it was revealed that Khloe and Thompson were expecting their second child.
The exes are already parents to 4-year-old daughter True Thompson. We can confirm that True will have a sibling who was conceived in November,” Khloe’s rep said in a statement. “Kholo is incredibly grateful to an extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We ask for kindness and privacy so Khloe can focus on her family.”
Khloe and Thompson began dating in 2016 and welcomed daughter True in 2018. They separated in June 2021 before reuniting. Kardashian then ended her relationship with the athlete in January this year. Thompson is father to son Prince, 5, with ex Jordan Craig, and son Theo, 8 months, with Marlee Nichols.
While their relationship ended last year, they communicate as co-parents. The baby’s arrival comes after the reality star opened up about her pregnancy struggles. During the March 2021 premiere episode of KUWTK’s final season, Khloe shared that doctors told her she would have a “high-risk” pregnancy if she decided to have another child of her own.
“I won’t go into the on-camera details, but they said there was an 80-percent chance I would miscarry,” she said in the episode. I almost miscarried True at first. But I didn’t know it was a lingering thing.” “This is all really shocking to me,” Kardashian added in her confessional. “I’m just trying to bring more love into my life and my family and I seem to be running into more and more obstacles. This is really hard for me to digest.”
