You must have seen some plants growing without soil. But have you ever seen complete farming without soil? Today we will tell you about a farmer who does the same. Apart from this, they are also contributing in maintaining the vegetation in a city like Patna using new technologies. This method can help in maintaining the balance of the environment if everyone in the city starts growing trees and plants with it.
The technique of farming without soil is called hydroponic, which requires water. Mohammad Javed, a resident of Kankarbagh Colony, Patna, has prepared a small garden with the help of this technique.
Javed has been successfully growing plants without soil for many years. He has converted his home into a garden using hydroponics technology. This technique is also called aquaculture in which plants grow without soil. Plants grow from the minerals and nutrients dissolved in water.
Javed says that 30 years ago he was working as a teacher in Shri Krishna Science Center in Patna. He left the job because of his interest in hydroponics. Later he began to work on the development of this method. After leaving the job, Javed did the Biofort M.
The solution is prepared by adding one milliliter of Biofort M to one liter of water. Plants up to 30 to 40 cm tall from the solution get nourishment for a year. He also made special organic fertilizers to give a new dimension to hydroponic technology. This organic manure was prepared from pebbles, small pieces of stone, sand etc. He uses pots, bottles and waste materials to grow plants in them.
