NEET PG 2022 postponement demand

Earlier, a group of doctors had filed a petition seeking postponement of the examination. However, the Supreme Court dismissed the petition. Many students have been protesting against the postponement of exams for some time now, claiming paucity of time for preparation. The candidates had sought a delay of around eight weeks saying that there is not enough time for preparation as NEET PG 2021 counseling and NEET PG 2022 exam are intertwined.

However, the top court said that postponing the exams would lead to shortage of doctors, and would impact the health system as well as create chaos in the academic circles. It was observed that with a slight lag, the government is trying to bring the educational program back on track. It also said that the court cannot even postpone the examination for the sake of the students preparing for the examination.
