ISLAMABAD (92News) – Pakistan and Cambodia have agreed to intensify bilateral engagement and dialogue at all levels and enhance cultural and people-to-people contacts.
The agreement was reached during a meeting between Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen on the sidelines of the ASEAN Regional Forum Ministerial Meeting in Phnom Penh.
The Prime Minister of Cambodia expressed his desire to have strong bilateral relations with Pakistan.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in his remarks praised the friendly relations between the two countries and expressed Pakistan’s eagerness to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
The foreign minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s continued support to Cambodia through its technical assistance programme.
He also expressed Pakistan’s eagerness to strengthen ties with ASEAN.
