The cabin crew of the IndiGo Raipur-Indore flight landed at its destination on Tuesday and saw smoke on the plane, air traffic regulator DGCA officials said on Wednesday. All passengers were able to get off the plane safely, he said.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is investigating the incident, officials said. Indigo did not respond to PTI’s request for a statement on the matter.
The cabin crew said there was smoke in the cabin after the A320 plane landed. Air traffic regulator DGCA on Wednesday issued a show cause notice to SpiceJet following eight technical glitches in the airline’s aircraft in the past 18 days.
