Leaguer starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey is one of the most awaited pan-Indian movies of 2022. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, this is another big-budget film, which will release worldwide in multiple languages. In this film, Mike Tyson will be seen acting in an Indian film for the first time.
The film will hit theaters on August 25 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages. The film has now received a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification.
According to reports, the members of the censor board liked Ligar’s storyline and Vijay’s character in the film. The movie has a runtime of 2 hours 20 minutes, with the first half lasting around 1 hour 15 minutes. The board reportedly appreciated Puri Jagannath’s efforts to work on Vijay’s character. The board members were also very impressed with Vijay’s performance in the sports drama.
Even before its theatrical release, the film has created a buzz since its trailer release and Vijay Deverakonda fans are eagerly waiting for the film. The film has done good business even before its release. The makers of the film have received good offers for the OTT and satellite rights of the film. Made on a budget of around Rs 125 crore, the film is expected to be a blockbuster.
The film depicts the journey of a tea seller from a Mumbai slum who goes on to become a world boxing champion.
Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Leaguer are reuniting for yet another pan-Indian big budget film. The film is rumored to be titled Janganamna (JGM) and aims to generate a similar buzz to that created in the pre-release promotions of Leaguer.
