Pakistan’s great fast bowler Wasim Akram has shared his plan which could be better than India’s batting maestro Virat Kohli. Akram, who was one of the greatest bowlers to have played the game, retired long before Kohli’s debut as the two did not get a chance to play against each other. Kohli has been going through a lean phase as his last international century came in 2019, however, it did not question his greatness as he was rated as one of the best batsmen to play the game.

Akram said that he will be confident when bowling to Kohli and his first plan is to swing the ball from the middle stump to both sides and trap him behind the stumps and get him lbw.

“I would have been very confident. If he came out to bat at 3 or 4, it meant two wickets down. If he was new to the crease, I would have attacked. Pitch the ball to the middle stump, and swing it, or his On the other hand, Akram said on Nashpati Prime’s ‘To Be Honest’ show.

“If that doesn’t work, I will switch to Plan B, which is to bowl a bouncer. Put the fielder in the deep and then put him back inside… Creating many such small chances is the key to getting him better,” he said. Told.

Akram, who made his ODI debut in 1984, ended his career with 502 wickets. He is regarded as one of the greatest bowlers of his generation and was known for his reverse swinging balls which troubled many with the old ball.

The 56-year-old took a walk down the memory lane to remember his early cricketing days, where he spoke about his camaraderie with Javed Miandad and Imran Khan.

“Javed bhai chose me. Then once I got into the team, I met Imran Khan, who was in Australia in 1985,” said Akram. He said, ‘I was bowling in the nets and he saw me there. He was impressed and then when I played the 3-day match against New Zealand, that was my first FC match. I couldn’t sleep at night. In the first innings itself, he was very relaxed,” he said.
