Students need to get at least 33% marks to pass. Along with the marks, the students will also get grades. To get A grade, students need more than 80% marks. Those who get 90% + will get A2 while those who get 80% to 90% will get A1. Last year, a total of 2,656 students got A1 grade, while 22,131 students were given A2 grade.

This year, more than 5 lakh students registered for the matriculation exams held between April 29 and May 7. The exams were conducted offline after a 2-year hiatus due to the Kovid-19 epidemic. The two combined exams were held, the first starting in January and the second in April.
