Akshay Kumar, Raksha Bandhan co-stars Bhumi Pednekar, Sahajmin Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Sadia Khatib, and Smriti Srikkanth along with director Aanand L Rai attended the trailer launch event of their upcoming film Raksha Bandhan in the national capital. The actor, whose film will hit the theaters on August 11, opened up about the film and his relationship with his real sister Alka. He also explained how that relationship was the basis of what he did in the film. But not only this, he also hit back at the journalists who had put strange questions on him.

The film will release on August 11 along with Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha.
