London: Six-time champion Novak Djokovic produced a masterclass on the grass court at Wimbledon on Wednesday with a second-round victory over top seed Thanasi Kokinakis.

Djokovic took only two hours to beat Australia 6-1, 6-4, 6-2 and extended his winning streak to 23 matches in SW19.

One game was enough for the six-time champion to click into Top Gear on Wednesday against Kokinakis. Djokovic broke the Australian in the second game and then there was no looking back.

On the third day of Wimbledon, the home favorite was eliminated from the tournament as Andy Murray suffered a second round exit on center court.

Murray performed late in the match, but was met with the ruthless power of John Isner, who won 6-4, 7-6, 6-7, 6-4 in three hours.

Fifth seed Carlos Alcaraz, on the other hand, defeated Dutchman Talon Grixpour 6-4, 7-6(0), 6-3 to enter the third round of the grass-court major for the first time. At just 19 years old, he has now made it to the third round in the four majors.

Alcaraz will next play 32nd seed German Oscar Otte, who advanced after just four games – he took a 3-1 lead – when American qualifier Christian Harrison retired.
