Lauren McGregor lost her husband Chris in July 2020 to a brain tumor. The couple had been planning to have a child together for a long time, however, the husband’s illness came in the form of a major heartbreak. Lauren has now managed to give birth to her late husband’s child. She was able to do this using sperm frozen by her husband. She gave birth to her son on May 17. According to a Times Now report, she said, “I didn’t feel like I needed to introduce Seb to a picture of his father – it just felt like they already knew each other. . . wherever he is.” Yes, he has given me a small piece of himself.”

He further added that his son looks like his father every day. She said that when her son was born, the hair on his head was “with a perfect ‘M’ shaped hairline”, like her husband used to be, for which everyone teased him. She also told how she sees her husband’s strengths in her son.

Chris’ son from a previous relationship acts as a father figure to Seb. He takes Seb to the hospital and does everything a father should do for the child. Lauren doesn’t think there are many teenage boys who would think to do such a thing, but he really wanted to do it for his father. “It’s a really lovely picture and a lovely memory,” Lauren said.
